Among city residents, those who fall under any of the following 1 and 2

　①Pregnant women who have been notified of pregnancy after February 1, 2023

　②Caregivers for newborns born on or after April 1, 2023

If you have been transferred to Yokohama City, you will not be able to receive a childbirth support gift (during pregnancy) or a child care support gift (after childbirth) at the local government before moving in.

Example: If you move to Yokohama during pregnancy after submitting a notification of pregnancy at the local government before moving in and receiving a childbirth support fund.

→In Yokohama, you will not be able to receive birth support money. It is possible to receive child care support money after giving birth.

Birth support gifts and child care support gifts refer to cash and coupons paid in projects based on the government's "birth and child care support grant business". Please check with the local government before moving in to see if you have received a childbirth support gift or a child care support gift at the local government before moving in.

• Childbirth support money: 50,000 yen per pregnant woman
• Child care support money: 50,000 yen per newborn

• Childbirth support money: Until the date of birth
• Child care support money: Within 3 months from "Hello baby visit"

You will need to notify your pregnancy at your ward office Children and Families Support Division and guide you on how to apply on the spot.

In the case of "Hello baby visit", we will guide you about the application method.
　Caution: Child care support money can apply for the caregiver who received the interview of "Hello baby visit" can apply.

※You need a mother and child handbook number to apply.
　If you are transferred to Yokohama City, please obtain the Yokohama City Mother and Child Handbook Number at the window of Children and Families Support Division in your ward.
※Even if you have lived in Yokohama in the past and are transferred to Yokohama again, you will need to obtain a mother and child handbook number for Yokohama.
※As a general rule, it is accepted by electronic application. How to apply is described in the guide.
※After reviewing the application details, we will send you a notice of the examination results. After sending the notification, we will transfer the support money to the designated account.

[Retrospective Target] Residents of the city, those who fall under any of the following (1) to (3)
・Childbirth support money: ①Those who have reported pregnancy after April 1, 2022
　　　　　　　②Those who have become pregnant before March 31, 2022 and gave birth on or after April 1, 2022
・Child care support money: ③Those who have become pregnant before March 31, 2022 and gave birth on or after April 1, 2022
Among the above persons, those who have been notified of pregnancy by January 31, 2023 and those who gave birth by March 31, 2023 will be mailed individually, and the application has been closed on August 31, 2023.
※Applications cannot be made after March 1, 2024, including those who could not apply within the deadline due to unavoidable circumstances.
　

The screening will be conducted sequentially from the applicant, and a notification of the examination result will be sent in about 10 weeks.
If there are any incomplete application documents, please be aware that it will take more time to confirm the application details.
It takes about two weeks from notification of the examination result to the transfer.
If the application is withdrawn before the examination is completed, the application will be started again.
