Special bus and subway tickets (households receiving Child Raising Allowance and households entering maternal and child life support facilities)

Free special tickets for municipal buses, private buses (except when getting on and off outside the city), municipal subways, and Kanazawa Seaside Line are issued to households receiving Child Raising Allowance and households entering the maternal and child life support facilities at each ward office Children and Families Support Division. The number of users is limited to one person per household.

Please bring the following to the Children and Families Support Division window of your ward office and apply.

１．Child Raising Allowance certificate or certificate of residence issued by the director of the maternal and child life support facility
２．Photo of the person using the special ticket (upper body, front, no hat, 3cm long x 2.4cm wide)

For the time being, it will be possible to apply for a new grant by mail.
Please fill out the application form (PDF: 190KB) for the mailing procedure and send it together with the reply envelope. In the case of mailing, please submit a copy of the Child Raising Allowance Certificate, not the original.
For details on procedures such as postage stamps attached to reply envelopes, please consult with your ward office Children and Families Support Division.

Please use the re-grant application form (PDF: 185KB) for mailing procedures and send it together with the reply envelope. In the case of mailing, please submit a copy of the Child Raising Allowance Certificate, not the original.

If you want to change the user of the special ticket from the current user to another household member, please bring the following to the ward window and consult.

[About mail application]
Regarding the procedure for changing the user, mailing procedures cannot be performed due to the return of the specially issued ticket.

The validity period of the special ticket is from April 1 to March 31 of each year.
If you are currently receiving special tickets and wish to continue using them after April of the following year, you must submit the desired registration form.
A special ticket will be mailed from the city at the end of March to those who submitted the desired registration form by the deadline.

■If you are currently using a special ticket
We will send a "Grant Request Form" to those who are eligible in early February.
Please submit the “Request for Grant” in the enclosed reply envelope by the deadline specified in advance.
After confirming the submitted contents and grant requirements, the city will mail a special ticket at the end of March.

■Those who have lost the requested registration form, who have been notified after the deadline.
Please submit "Request registration form (for window) (PDF: 94KB)" to Children and Families Support Division in your ward.

■Those who want to change the user (subject to grant) during the year update
Please apply at the window of Children and Families Support Division in your ward.

（２） For those currently in use, "Yokohama City Special Ticket Grant Request registration form (for submission)" ※It will be mailed from the city to the target person in early February.

（４） A copy of the Child Raising Allowance Certificate (within the expiration date) or a certificate of residence issued by the head of the mother and child life support facility

You need the following.
