By reducing the financial burden of pregnancy and childbirth, we will create an environment where people can give birth with peace of mind without hesitation.

You can use the child care support site "Pamatoko" (outside site) (outside site) to apply for the maternity Health Checkups expense subsidy and childbirth expense subsidy.
Please note that applications are not accepted at ward offices, etc.

※Only the person who gave birth can apply. In principle, spouses and family members are not allowed to apply.
　If it is difficult to apply from the person due to the fact that the child gave birth is a minor, please contact the call center in advance.

Up to 90,000 yen per child who gave birth
※If an additional payment of a lump-sum payment for childbirth and childcare is provided by the health insurance union to which the recipient is enrolled, the amount will be deducted from 90,000 yen and paid.
