Overview of the system
Yokohama City subsidizes a part of the cost required for infertility testing announced as advanced medical care based on the national guidelines to support those who suffer from infertility such as repeat miscarriages twice or more in Yokohama City We perform specific infertility examination expense furtherance business.
The latest information as of December 1, 2022
On November 30, 2022, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare announced that "Genetic testing using stillbirth specimens" was positioned as advanced medical care and will be eligible for the grant from December 1, 2022.
For this reason, we will start accepting grants for "Genetic testing using stillbirth specimens (Fively dead chorioles and fetal tissue chromosome testing using next-generation sequencer)" conducted on or after December 1, 2022.
1.Requirements
As of April 1, 2024, there is only one inspection eligible for grant.
- Genetic tests using stillbirth samples taken on or after December 1, 2022 (direct chromosome tests using next-generation sequencers)

Medical institutions | Have been tested at a medical institution listed on the Advanced Medical A Number 29 on the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare website (list of medical institutions that provide advanced medical care). |

Maximum amount of grant
Genetic tests using stillbirth samples taken on or after December 1, 2022 (direct chromosome tests using next-generation sequencers)
70% of the inspection cost per inspection (rounded down to the nearest thousand yen) ※However, the upper limit is 60,000 yen

(double-sided copy is allowed.) |
