What is the breathing method?

Last Updated August 18, 2023

Introduction

Have you ever felt like "I'm trying to do xx in my head, but my body doesn't move as I want" or "I want to do xx, but I'll give up because my □□□ of my body hurts" etc. ?
Due to stress, etc., there are times when the body does not match what you think in your head or feel with your mind.
"abdominal breathing" helps to unite feelings and body. If you feel tired or want to change your mood, try breathing techniques.

How to practice…

☆When you start breathing, close your eyes with the weight of your eyelid while listening to your favorite music. Turn your consciousness to the inside of your body.
☆"Breathing" can be controlled by your own will, in principle, exhale from the nose (or mouth) and inhale from the nose.
The physiological effect of abdominal breathing is large enough to train the trunk gently.

Call : It means breathing out. When exhaling, tighten your stomach small and tighten it, bring your navel closer to your spine, and exhale a lot.
⇒The diaphragm moves and activates the pelvic floor muscles.

Sucking : (From the nose) means breathing. If you loosen your stomach and inflate it, air will enter the nose as much as you vomit.
⇒Oxygen, which is closed and taken in from the nose, is transported to the blood and reaches the brain.

When performing with movement, start with the exhaled breath and stop or loosen the movement with the inhaled breath.

Effects of mental aspects

By performing simple movements along with abdominal breathing, you can relax the unconscious power. If you have a little distance from what you care about when you try it for a few minutes with awareness of breathing, it will lead to self-care. Stress, worries, anxiety, etc. are not easily resolved, but if you can feel not only yourself who feels stress but also calm yourself, you may be able to respond differently than before .
