The Health and Social Welfare Bureau Health Promotion Division recruits fiscal year appointment staff engaged in passive smoking prevention measures.

We perform the following duties based on reports from citizens for the implementation of indoor smoking cessation and prevention of unwanted passive smoking as stipulated in the Health Promotion Law.
(1) Patrol guidance on passive smoking measures for city offices (visiting and guidance to restaurants where indoor smoking cessation is not protected)
(2) Subsidiary work related to violation of the Health Promotion Law (recommendations, orders, etc.)
(3) Enlightenment work on measures against passive smoking (tours, signboards, etc.)
(4) Response to inquiries regarding passive smoking (including telephone services)
(5) Other duties deemed necessary by the director in charge
　　 ※Includes disaster response operations in the event of a large-scale disaster (basically assisted work, only during working hours)

（１） Interest and motivation to promote citizens' health
（２） Being physically and mentally healthy because there are frequent business trips in the city
（３） Being able to face-to-face and telephone calls
（４） Basic computer operation (Word, Excel, e-mail software, etc.)
（５） Must be at least 20 years old as of April 1, 2024
　　　※The Health Promotion Law stipulates that those under the age of 20 are prohibited from entering smoking areas, so age restrictions are set.

　　　 From April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025
（２） Working hours, etc.
　　　 8:45-17: 15 (including 1 hour break time)
（３） Working days
　　　 Working 4 days a week (in principle, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, but commuting days can be adjusted)
　　　 ※Excludes Saturday, Sunday, public holidays, and New Year's holidays (December 29 to January 3).
（４） Workplace
　　　 City of Yokohama, Health and Social Welfare Bureau Health Promotion Section (6-50, Honmachi, Naka-ku, Yokohama)
　　　 ※The government building is non-smoking on the premises.
（５） Payroll
　　　 ¥179,600 per month
　　 ※This is the estimated amount for fiscal 2024. It is subject to change due to system revision.
