Central Yokohama is an area that symbolizes Yokohama, a port town visited by many citizens and tourists. In particular, Kannai and Kangai-District are blessed with abundant waterfront spaces such as rivers and seas, and there is growing momentum for further utilization of waterside spaces. In Motoichi, we regard the waterside space as a valuable resource, and aim to utilize it for multifaceted town development by conducting social experiments on water traffic connecting rivers and the inner port district.
In the fall of 2019, the first initiative this year, "Takenawa Aki! In addition to the Yokohama Cruise 2019, two initiatives will be implemented as events related to water transportation in central Yokohama.
