　Yokohama City University, Keikyu Corporation, and Yokohama City today announced the idea of "house making and town development" to realize a new suburban way of living in Yokohama City using vacant houses, etc. from September 25, 2019 to December 12.
　In suburban residential areas in Yokohama City, there is an appeal such as the amount of greenery that is not found in the city center, but demand is declining due to commuting convenience, etc., and the number of vacant houses will increase in the future. I am concerned.
　Therefore, the “Hamako suburban living competition” was held to consider ways to live in a suburban area where people live for a long time. We are recruiting ideas that utilize unoccupied houses, etc., and the submitted works will be judged mainly by experts (real estate industry) who are members of the Hamako suburban living study meeting.
　In addition, on March 24, 2020, in addition to a public presentation screening (planned) and an award ceremony for those who passed the screening, a symposium will be held, with the theme of the characteristics and attractiveness of suburban residential areas and "living the youth generation." Panel discussions will be held by the judges. In addition, particularly excellent ideas will be used as a reference for measures in Yokohama City, and Keikyu Corporation will consider concrete implementation in future town development along the Keikyu Line.
