Yokohama City University, Keikyu Corporation, and Yokohama City have come up with the idea of "house building and town development" to realize a new suburban way of living in Yokohama City using vacant houses, etc. from September 25, 2019 to December We recruit until December 12.
In suburban residential areas in Yokohama City, while there are attractions such as the amount of greenery that is not found in the city center, demand is decreasing due to commuting flights, etc., and it is not used even if inherited, and there is concern that vacant houses will continue to increase in the future I am.
Therefore, the “Hamako Suburb Living Competition” was held in order to consider ways of living in the suburbs that are attractive to residents, where people live for a long time. We will widely recruit ideas utilizing unoccupied houses, etc., and the submitted works will be judged mainly by experts (real estate industry) who are members of the Hamako Suburban Living Study Group. .
In addition, on March 24, 2020, in addition to the public presentation screening (planned) and the award ceremony for those who passed the screening, a symposium was held to discuss the characteristics and attractiveness of suburban residential areas and "living in the suburbs of the young generation". Panel discussions will be held by judges. In addition, particularly excellent ideas will be used as a reference for measures in Yokohama City, and Keikyu Corporation will consider concrete implementation in future town development along the Keikyu Line.
