The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has designated June as “Town Development Month” every year from 1983 to promote town development utilizing creativity and ingenuity based on the active participation of residents. We commend individuals or groups who have achieved achievements.
It has been decided that two groups that had accomplished in promoting town development in Yokohama will receive the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award (Town Development Month Town Development Meritor Award).
