In 2019, a commemorative ceremony was held at the Tokyo International Forum, marking the 100th anniversary of the enactment of the City Planning Act and the Urban Building Act. At the ceremony, the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism commendation was given to individuals and groups who have contributed to the promotion of urban planning and building administration, and two organizations active in the field of town development in Yokohama City (Yokohama City Building Agreement Liaison Council, Nonprofit Corporation Yokohama Planners Network) was awarded.
