　In Motoichi, aging advances in future, and it is expected that cremation demand will continue to increase with this.
　Currently, the city's saijo (crematorium) is operated by 4 municipal saijo and 1 private saijo. Since it is difficult for these existing facilities to secure a stable supply of cremation in the future, we have been studying the development of a new municipal saijo.
　In addition, the eastern saijo will be added to ensure a stable supply of cremation in the future of the city and to improve convenience to saijo in the eastern part of the city.
