1.What kind of payment method do you have?
A

You can choose direct debit payment, credit card payment, and delivery notice payment.
For details on the payment method, click "Payment such as account and credit".
For customers who wish to pay by direct debit or credit card, please contact the Water Works Bureau Customer Service Center (TEL: 045-847-6262).

2.I'd like to apply for a fund transfer.
A

You can apply at the handling financial institution window, so please bring your passbook, private seal, and customer number (news of water supply, sewerage water usage, etc.) before proceeding.
If you wish to apply by mail, please contact us.
Please use the “Application Form for Fund Transfer and Credit Card Payment Application Form Mail Application Page (external site)” or contact the Water Works Bureau Customer Service Center.
Some financial institutions can apply via the Internet.

3.I'd like to pay by credit card, but what is the procedure?

Water Works Bureau will send you an application form common to all card companies, so please fill in the required items form from the mailing procedure page and contact the Water Works Bureau Customer Service Center.
You can also apply for credit card payment via the City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau Web Credit Application page (external site).

You will need to apply again.
Water Works Bureau will send you an application form for each card company, so please contact the Water Works Bureau Customer Service Center.

In order to update your card information, you will need to apply again.

7.I pay by credit card, do you have any receipts?
A

Water Works Bureau has not issued a receipt or other document telling you that you have received it, so please check the usage statement from your credit card company.
※Credit card payment is a payment method in which credit card companies make advance payments to Water Works Bureau on behalf of customers. Since payment to Water Works Bureau is made by a credit card company, we do not issue receipts to customers.

8.I have lost my delivery notice (payment form). What should I do?

A

Water Works Bureau doesn't reissue receipts.
However, if proof of payment is required, a “income certificate” is issued at the window of the water supply office (issue fee of ¥ 300). In addition, at the time of application, identification documents of the applicant are required. In addition, if the applicant is other than the payer of the water charge (the billing name), a power of attorney is also required. 10. I want to pay with a smartphone or other device. (About mobile payment)

You will need a smartphone terminal that can use the app.
Payment can be made by reading the barcode on the delivery notice with the code reader of the application.
However, if you exceed the available amount of each company, please pay at a convenience store or financial institution near you.

Water Works Bureau will not issue a receipt, but please check the details provided by each company through the app.

A

Please contact Water Works Bureau Customer Service Center with the new billing address of Address.
If you are applying for more than one case, please fill out the form (Excel: 16KB) and send it by fax (045-848-4281).

13. Do you pay water charges, etc. caused by water leakage?
A

Water pipes and household water supply facilities that are separated from Water Works Bureau water pipes buried under roads are property of customers and are managed by them.
Therefore, even if the amount of water measured by the water meter contains the amount of water leaked, the customer will be required to pay the water charge for the amount of water in principle.
However, leaks from unexposed water pipes, such as underground or inside building walls, may be difficult to detect even if customers are always properly managed, and water charges for the amount of water including leaked water. May also be expensive.
For this reason, only when certain standards are met, a part of the amount of water at the time of the meter reading, including the amount of water leakage, can be reduced and water rates can be reduced.

14. What is the procedure for reducing water leakage?

Regarding the reduction of water charges, etc. due to water leakage (water leakage), please consult the Water Works Bureau Customer Service Center because the application form to be submitted differs depending on the content of the construction.

I'll send you a reminder letter. If the delinquency period is 3 to 4 months, you will have to stop the customer's water supply, so please pay as soon as possible.
If you have lost your delivery notice (payment form), you will need to reissue it, so please contact Water Works Bureau Customer Service Center.

Various factors can be considered, such as a mistake in payment confirmation or a nearby water outage.

21. I received a delivery notice (payment form) even though it was credit card payment.

It is probable that the delivery notice (payment form) arrived at the customer who registered for credit card payment due to the following factors.
Please pay with the delivery notice (payment form) delivered.
Depending on the factors that could not be settled, the payment method will be changed to delivery notice (payment form) payment.
If you wish to pay by credit card again, you will need to apply for credit card payment.
・The main factors that make it impossible to make credit card payments are as follows.

  1. Organisation ※(Hereinafter referred to as "Aussoli"), the credit card company determined that payment cannot be made or the card has been invalidated.
    ※Authori is a data processing (automatic) in which a credit card company checks the validity, invalidity, limit, etc. of the card, and secures a credit limit (use limit).
    ※The autholi is based on the credit card information applied by the customer.
  2. I received my renewal card after the expiration date, but I forgot to apply for the card to Water Works Bureau.
    (Even if your credit card is updated, Water Works Bureau registration information will not be updated unless you apply to Water Works Bureau.)
