1.I'm moving from outside the city to Yokohama.
A.

The Water Works Bureau Customer Service Center or the Internet is accepting procedures for starting use.
If you wish to pay by direct debit or credit card, you will need to complete the procedure after starting the use.
If you are moving from outside Yokohama, you will not be able to continue your previous fund transfer and credit payment, so you will need to apply for a new one.
Attendance is not basically necessary when starting to use. We will ask you to open the faucet by the day before the start date of use, so please check that all faucets are closed to prevent water leakage accidents.
If there is a problem with opening, such as when repairing a water leak or removing the faucet for construction, be sure to contact the Customer Service Center in advance. (Water Works Bureau does not take any responsibility in the event of a water leak accident.)
※In addition, attendance may be necessary for auto-lock apartments.

2.I'm moving in Yokohama.
A.

The Water Works Bureau Customer Service Center or the Internet accepts procedures for stopping use and starting use.
The settlement of the old use place is as follows.

  • If you would like to make a local payment, please contact Water Works Bureau.
  • Attendance at the time of discontinuation is not required except in special cases such as local settlement.
  • Currently, only those who have deducted their water bill from their account can choose to transfer funds.
  • Currently, only those who pay the water bill by credit card can choose to pay by credit card.
  • At present, those who pay the water bill with the delivery notice (payment form) will be settled with the delivery notice.

The new Address's billing method is as follows:

  • In the case of fund transfer (continuous payment) or credit card (continuous payment), you can continue to use the same account or credit card as the place where the water supply was discontinued at the new use place. ※Partial exclusion

We accept procedures for discontinuation of use at Water Works Bureau City Customer Service Center procedures for discontinuation of use.
For procedures for moving to a new location outside of Yokohama, please contact your local Water Works Bureau City.
Attendance at the time of discontinuation is not required except in special cases such as local settlement.
If you would like to make a local payment, please contact Water Works Bureau.

4.I applied for the start / stop from the Internet, but I did not receive the application acceptance completion email.
A.

Notification of application acceptance completion will be automatically sent to the registered e-mail address, but there have been events where e-mails are distributed to "Junk e-mails" and "Garbage box" folders. Please check.
If you need to confirm your application in Water Works Bureau City if you need toPhone number's application needs to be confirmed. Please note that we will not contact you by e-mail.
