  • Start/stop use due to relocation in Yokohama City

You can use the water supply of Yokohama City based on the Yokohama City Water Supply Ordinance (PDF: 316KB) and the Yokohama City Water Supply Ordinance Enforcement Regulations (PDF: 1,693KB).
Please refer to the water supply for the main rules on using the water supply.
Please use it after your understanding.

About relocation between Yokohama city

    Payment will be made according to the payment method used in the old place of use.
  • How to claim a new place of use
    If you use direct debit (continuous payment) or credit card payment (continuous payment) at the old place of use, you can continue to use it to pay for the new place of use.

About moving out of Yokohama city

  • About procedure of relocation outside Yokohama-shi
    Please contact Water Works Bureau where you are moving.
  • There is no need to be present when discontinuing use, except in special cases such as local settlement.
  • Those who wish to make local payment

About moving from outside the city to Yokohama

  • If you wish to pay by direct debit or credit card, you will need to complete the procedure after starting use.
    In addition, if you move from outside the city, you will not be able to continue your previous debit and credit payment, so please apply for a new one.
  • For credit card payment, it takes about one month to complete the registration procedure.
  • There is basically no need to be present at the start of use.
    We will ask you to open the valve by the day before the start date of use, so please check that all faucets are closed to prevent water leakage.
    In addition, if there is a problem with opening work, such as during repair of water leakage or removing the faucet for construction, be sure to notify us in advance.Water Works Bureau Customer Service CenterPlease contact me.   • Autolock condominiums may need to be present.
