Registration criteria for building air environment measurement industry

This is the site of Health Sanitation Division, Health and Safety Department, Yokohama City Public Health Center. Provides information on building hygiene.

Please attach the following form to the registration application form.
- If the applicant is a corporation, a copy of the Articles of Incorporation and a certificate of entry, or a copy of the donation act and a certificate of entry (if the applicant is an individual, a copy of the resident certificate). If the business purpose is listed on the certificate of entry, the articles of incorporation or donation can be omitted.

As we confirm original about air environment measurement conductor (re) class completion certificate and building environmental hygiene management engineer's certificate, please bring it with you at the time of application.
Air environment measurement operation method
When describing the air environment measurement work (Attachments 5-1 and 5-2), please note the following:
- The selection of measurement points must be stated.
- It must be stated that the number of measurements must be at least twice a day (from the start of work and intermediate time to before closing).
- The measurement location must be between 75cm and l50cm above the floor.
- The procedure for preparing the measurement result report must be clearly specified (two copies must be prepared and one copy should be stored for the owner for 5 years). From the viewpoint of personal information protection, it is specified in the procedure for preparing a work report that measures should be taken to prevent leakage of personal information, etc., based on the Personal Information Protection Law Guidelines, etc., as necessary.
- The method of storing the measurement result report and the name of the person in charge of storage must be clearly specified. The measurement results must be stored for 5 years.
- If there is a problem as a result of the measurement, it must be clearly specified.
- Methods for inspection, calibration, etc. of measuring equipment, and how to store these records must be described.
It must be stated that calibration should be performed once a year for the floating dust meter. - For electrical resistance thermometers, electric resistance hygrometers, and constant potential electrolytic CO measuring instrument, etc., calibration or sensor replacement is performed regularly (about once every 1 to 1.5 years) to have comprehensive measurement accuracy. It must be stated that regular calibration or sensor replacement is performed by the manufacturer because it is necessary.
- The form of the measurement result report must be attached.
- There must be a description of the outsourcing standards, and the notification of the contents of the outsourcing to the client and the method of grasping the work of the contractor.
- There must be a description of the system for complaints and emergency communications.
Outline of machinery and equipment
When describing the outline of machinery and equipment (Attachment 1), please note the following.
- There must be a carbon monoxide detector, carbon dioxide detector, thermo-hygrometer (0.5 scale or more), dust meter, and airflow meter (measured for 0.2m / second or more).
- The quantity of machinery and equipment must be appropriate for the number of employees.
Long-term, permanently occupied and free to use.
