This is the site of Health Sanitation Division, Health and Safety Department, Yokohama City Public Health Center. We provide information on the hygiene of buildings.

Overview of the Building Hygiene Act (registration system)
1 Basis Laws and Regulations
Article 12-2 of the Act on Securing a Hygiene Environment in Buildings
2 Industries that can be registered

Building cleaning business (No. 1 registration) | Business to clean floors, etc. in buildings (excluding business to clean exterior walls and windows of buildings, and to clean only plumbing and drainage facilities.) |

Building Environmental Sanitation Comprehensive Management Business (No. 8 registration) | Cleaning, operation of air conditioning equipment and mechanical ventilation equipment in buildings, daily inspection and repair (hereinafter referred to as “operation, etc.”) In addition, the measurement of the air environment, the operation of equipment related to water supply and drainage, the inspection of free residual chlorine contained in water in the hydrant, and the inspection of the color, turbidity, smell and taste of the water in the hydrant. 3 Restrictions on display and display of registration
(1)Name of display
Registered traders can display the following for each industry.

(2)Restrictions on display
Since registration is performed for each business office, it is not possible to indicate that the business office other than the registered business office is a registered business or similar.
If you violate this, you will be punished.
4 Places to receive registration
Registration can be registered for each sales office according to the business category of the business.
A sales office is the basis for certain business activities objectively, and has the ability to conclude an acceptance agreement and perform legal and actual acts such as management of duties related to registration. What you have.
Therefore, it is not possible to register employee waiting rooms in the building as sales offices.
5 The validity period of registration
The registration is valid for 6 years. Therefore, if you want to display a registered trader for more than 6 years, you must receive a new registration (re-register).
6 Cancellation of registration
If the registered sales office no longer meets the registration criteria, the registration may be canceled.
Registration criteria
Registration standards are broadly divided into standards for machinery and equipment and other equipment (physical requirements) and standards for qualifications for persons engaged in business (human requirements).
These standards must be necessary and sufficient to conduct a business related to registration.

The validity period of registration is 6 years indicated on the registration certificate.
Please complete the procedures at Health and Welfare Center, which has jurisdiction over the location of the office, approximately two months to one month before the final effective date.

Notification of change and abolition
1 Notification of change
If any of the following changes are made, the registered company must submit to the Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division in the ward where the office is located with the necessary attached documents for notification of change.
Please attach the attached documents of the notification of change in the same way as the attached documents at the time of application for registration (in the case of re-registration change, the actual attachment is omitted using the attached documents confirmation slip).
Also, if there is a change in the contents of the registration certificate, please attach the old registration certificate.

2 Notification of abolition
If the registered agent abolishes the business related to registration, the registered agent must submit this notice to Health and Welfare Center Health Sanitation Division in the ward where the business office is located within 30 days from that date with the registration certificate.
