Goals of District Planning | This area faces Motomachi Street, one of Yokohama's typical commercial areas, and the Motomachi Riverside Street (hereinafter referred to as "Kawagishi Dori") along the Horikawa River parallel to Motomachi Street. In this area, the number of visitors is expected to increase further due to the opening of the Urban Expressway Minato Mirai 21 Line, and the location of various commercial facilities is underway. Under these circumstances, this district plan establishes the principles of use and form for buildings constructed facing Motomachi Street and Kawagishi Dori. The goal is to create an attractive cityscape that harmonizes as a whole, and to promote safe, comfortable and dignified city planning. |
