Measures against COVID-19 in agriculture

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has prepared basic guidelines related to the agriculture and livestock industry regarding the response to COVID-19 infection, etc.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has compiled basic points for business continuity when a COVID-19 infection occurs among farmers. Please refer to the guidelines linked below.

  1. Since March 13, 2023, wearing masks has been based on individual judgment, respecting individual independent choices.
  2. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic response headquarters decided on February 10, “Review of the concept of wearing masks, etc.” and partial changes to the basic response policy.

    ・It is permissible for business operators to require users or employees to wear masks for infection control or business reasons.
