About COVID-19 measures in agriculture

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has prepared basic guidelines for people involved in the agriculture and livestock industry regarding the response to the new coronavirus infection.
When a patient with COVID-19 infection occurs among farmers, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has compiled basic points for business continuity when a patient with COVID-19 infection occurs among farmers. Please refer to the guidelines linked below.

- Since March 13, 2023, wearing a mask has been based on individual judgment, respecting individual's independent choices.
- In accordance with the decision of the Headquarters for COVID-19 Infectious Disease Control Headquarters on February 10, "Review of the concept of wearing a mask" and a partial change in the basic response policy.
・Wearing a mask is basically left to the individual's judgment.
・Businesses are allowed to ask users or employees to wear masks for infection control or business reasons.
