Measures against sediment runoff from farmland due to heavy rain and typhoons

Last update date August 10, 2023

In city, we perform support such as setting of earth and sand runoff prevention fence or distribution of sandbag in place where earth and sand runoff occurred in the past and place where there is a risk of occurrence. Thanks to everyone's cooperation, the outflow of sediment from farmland during heavy rains is on a declining trend.
However, it is necessary to continue taking measures to prevent damage in the event of heavy rains and typhoons that exceed expectations. In order to prevent sediment runoff damage, please take the following measures in advance.
