Last Updated February 5, 2024

Although the amount of snowfall is small in Yokohama, heavy snowfall, which greatly exceeds expectations, has caused enormous damage in the past. I think that sufficient measures have been taken, but we would like you to collect weather information frequently and confirm the measures and measures during snowfall again.
Please give priority to human life and try to prevent secondary disaster.

Record of agricultural damage (photographing, etc.)

In the event that severe agricultural damage occurs due to an unexpected weather disaster, a support project for the affected farmers may be launched. In that case, you will need a photo showing the status of the facility before the disaster and a photo showing the status of the disaster after the disaster, so please record the state of the facility before the disaster.

  1. Make sure you know the date of shooting.
    • Make sure that the date setting of the digital camera etc. is set correctly, and if it is out, fix it to the correct date and time.

    • Take photos with comparison targets such as people so that you can understand the overall sense of scale.
    • If the whole view becomes a continuous photo (joint photo) without being able to fit, make sure that the overlapping position is known.
  3. When shooting a specific location of the damage, (1) shoot in a distant view so that you can see where the damage location is in the whole, and (2) take a near view with a measure or knogis so that you can understand the size Please take a picture as a set.

Agricultural mutual aid

Agricultural Mutual Aid is a public insurance system in which a mutual aid is paid in the event of damage to crops, livestock, or horticultural facilities due to natural disasters. Special measures other than agricultural mutual aid are limited to the event of a major weather disaster unprecedented in the past, so join the agricultural mutual aid as a basic disaster countermeasure.
From January 2019, "Income Insurance" has been started for farmers who have filed blue declarations to compensate for the decrease in income for all agricultural products, and the NOSAI Kanagawa homepage (outside site) Various calculations can also be made.
