In the 1st and 3rd wards of Odori Park, we recruited private businesses that utilize Park-PFI (open call for participants installation management system) based on the renewal concept "regeneration of parks aimed at creating exchanges, relaxation, and liveliness."

Overview of Proposals for those planning to set up

  • In order to respond to various ways of spending, themes (1st ward: rest, 2nd ward: bustling, 3rd ward: exchange) are set in each ward, 1st ward is a welcome garden that becomes the face of a park, and 2nd ward is an event square, and a play ground where children gather in the 3rd ward will be maintained.
  • Restaurants and rest areas will be located in all of the 1st to 3rd wards, and deck terraces will be set up around the area to create a space where you can stay while enjoying flowers and greenery. In addition, we aim windows and terraces to the road side, creating a space where the bustle of the park and the town is continuous.
  • We will preserve the methasequoia trees, a symbol of Odori Park, to enhance the green axis through new planting and improve the green infrastructure function by improving the growth environment.

①Please set up multiple restaurants and manage and operate as park facilities targeted for open call for participants. The building area should be less than 2,500 m2 of the entire renewal area.

②You can set up and manage and operate profit facilities other than restaurants. The building area should be less than 2,500m2 in the entire renewal area, including restaurants.

Maintenance and management of gardens, etc.

[Required Proposal]
①In each ward of the 1st to 3rd wards, please maintain gardens (excluding the part to be maintained as open call for participants and the part to be maintained as convenience improvement facilities) as specific park facilities, open it free of charge, and manage it daily (existing toilets, etc.) Including the management of existing park facilities).

②It is possible to maintain existing toilets in the 2nd ward.
③Existing facilities in the renewal area can be maintained.
④About flow of open space of water of 3 wards, we can redevelop including review of facility.

Development, management and operation of facilities for improving convenience

・As a convenience improvement facility, signboards and share cycle ports can be installed and operated with the aim of contributing to the improvement of the convenience of local residents.

①Please carry out approach to raise charm of park and neighboring area further including improvement of scenery and the making of safe, reliable environment.

②Please implement measures to improve manners for Odori Park users.

③Please carry out approach to activate park protection society.

Implementation of events

・Based on the renewal concept, please hold an event in the renewal area. If a third party (organization / business) who wants to hold a new event appears, the business operator should cooperate with the third party and hold it as the organizer or co-sponsored person.

About holding of briefing sessions

Contents: Commentary on the contents of the open call for participants, local information, etc.
Exchange meeting: After the briefing session, we will hold an exchange meeting between businesses wishing to participate as a place for information exchange between businesses.
