Currently, Children's Nature Park is promoting the development of a “Park Management Plan” that shows the future image of Children's Nature Park in order to promote the use of parks through various public-private partnerships, including Park-PFI. . As an initiative to lead the development of the plan and the creation of the attractiveness and liveliness of the park, a customer attraction event utilizing multiple plazas in the Children's Nature Park with the keywords of "children play a leading role" and "experience rich nature" We recruit companies in open call for participants type act permission system.

Events to be recruited

  • The content of the event is based on the keywords of "children play a leading role" and "experience rich nature", and the planned number of customers per day of the event shall be 3,000 or more.
  • After satisfying that the contents of the entire event are to create the charm and bustle of the park, some of the events may include the sale of food and drinks and goods and paid experiences.

Implementation period and number of days of implementation

Phase 1: May 7-June 30, 2015
Phase 2: September 1-October 31, Reiwa 7
Phase 3: From December 1, Reiwa 7 to January 30, Reiwa 8 (except from December 27 to January 4)
※The number of days of implementation is within 7 days including preparation and removal per event.
※The schedule may be adjusted by the Northern Parks and Greenery Project Coordination Office, so it is not always possible to carry out on the desired schedule.
※If more than one candidate for permission to act is selected at the same time, it may be performed at another time.

Implementation time

As a general rule, from 9:00 to 18:00
※Excluding preparation and removal time.

Conditions for proposal of an event

①Please make the event content that contributes to the creation of the charm and bustle of the park with the keywords "Children play the leading role" and "You can experience rich nature".
②Prepare a free rest space as a park that everyone can use.
③As approach contributing to charm improvement of park, please perform improvement of aesthetics by cleaning activity in park or charm dispatch of park according to information dispatch of event.
④As an initiative of the SDGs, please work on deplasticization when selling food and drink.
⑤Initiatives that contribute to decarbonization include encouraging event participants to use public transportation, and utilizing hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) as event power sources.
⑥Park parking lots and bicycle parking lots are limited and may cause traffic congestion. Therefore, when conducting an event with a planned number of customers exceeding 6,000 per day, guide the use of public transportation or provide temporary parking lots and temporary buses.

Park usage fee to be collected

  • 3,900 yen per day for the entire event
  • 1,200 yen per store per day for food and drink / goods sales and paid experience
  • Advertisement 3,400 yen per square meter per day

・Friday, October 25, 2024: Start of open call for participants
・Friday, November 22, 2024: Application deadline for prior briefing session
・10:00 on Wednesday, November 27, 2024: Preliminary briefings
・17:00 on Wednesday, December 5, 2024: The deadline for submitting the questionnaire
・Thursday, December 12, 2024: Answer to Questionnaire
・17:00 on Wednesday, December 25, 2024: The deadline for submitting proposals
・January 2025: Examination, decision of candidate for action permission
・One month prior to the implementation of the project: Application for permission to act, etc.
・May 1995-January 1998: Project implementation

Prior briefing session (Participation is a condition of application.)

  • Date and time: 10:00 on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 (about 90 minutes required)
  • Venue: Children's Nature Park (Please gather at Northern Parks and Greenery Project Coordination Office on the second floor of Rest House)
  • Number of participants: Up to 2 to 3 applicants will be required.
  • Application: Please apply by e-mail to Northern Parks and Greenery Project Coordination Office (mk-hokubukoen@city.yokohama.lg.jp) by Friday, November 22, 2024. The subject of the e-mail should be [Children's Nature Park Customer Attraction Event Preliminary Briefing Session].

Results, verification, and future initiatives of trial implementation (FY2024) (September 6, 2024)

Results

An event was held in the first phase of the proposal that became a candidate for action permission after the act permission procedure.

  • Event name: Yokohama Nature Week 2024
  • Cumulative number of customers: 44,421
  • Efforts to Ensure Public Interest: ①Events that contribute to the creation of the park's attractions and liveliness, (2) Prepare free rest spaces, (3) Dissemination of the park's attractions in line with information dissemination of events, (4) SDGs initiatives, and (5) Efforts that contribute to decarbonization

Verification and Future Initiatives

・Verification was conducted based on the results of implementation and interviews with business operators.
・A lot of content that can be enjoyed by parents and children was prepared, and the entire event was thriving, and participants evaluated it as a highly satisfying event. In addition, public interest initiatives and management on the day were also implemented without any problems at the business operator.
・On the other hand, only one project was implemented, leaving issues such as ease of application.
・As a future initiative, we will conduct a second trial with the aim of conducting multiple events, partially relaxing the conditions for open recruitment based on verification. For details on specific application conditions, please refer to the application guidelines to be announced in the future.
