Overview
This is the procedure when there is a change in the composition of the household, such as a change in the head of the household, separation and merger of households. We accept at the ward office Family Registry Division Registration Section. (You can't apply at the City Hall / Administrative Service Corner.)
Targets
Those who have changed the composition of the household, such as a change in the head of household, separation or merger of households
Person who does report (apply), person who can do it
- The person himself / herself
- Head of household or same household
- proxy/agent (A power of attorney is required.) However, this is not required if the person and the same household staff report. )
Reception desk
Family Registry Division Registration Section, the ward office of your ward (you cannot apply at the city hall, administrative service corner, or other ward offices)

Monday to Friday, 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
From 9:00 am to noon on the 2nd and 4th Saturday About ward office window opening agency of the second, fourth Saturday
※The office is closed on Sunday, public holidays, and New Year's holidays.
Application period (submission date)
Within 14 days from the date of the change
If the 14th day falls on the closing date of the ward office, the next open day will be the last day of notification period.
What you need
- Identification documents of the person who came to the counter About identity verification at the time of notification of family register / resident change and request for various certifications
- A power of attorney is required when proxy/agent is submitted.
