Notification of change in relation to the head of household of foreign residents

Overview

Among foreign residents, if the head of household is a foreign resident and there is a change in the relationship with the head of household, a notification is required. We accept at the ward office Family Registry Division Registration Section. (You can't apply at the City Hall / Administrative Service Corner.)

Targets

Among foreign residents, those whose head of household is a foreign resident and whose relationship with the head of household has changed

Person who can report, person who can do it

  • The person himself / herself
  • Head of household or same household
  • proxy/agent (A power of attorney is required.) However, this is not required if the person and the same household staff report. )

Reception desk

Registration Section of your ward office, Family Registry Division (you cannot apply at the City Hall, Administrative Service Corner, or other ward offices)

※Sunday, public holidays, and New Year's holidays are closed days.

Application period (submission date)

Within 14 days from the date of the change

What you need

Documents confirming changes in the relationship between foreign residents with the head of household (attach Japanese translation attached)
