Are Address and others properly notified?

Last update date May 8, 2024

The resident certificate records information about residents, including name, date of birth, gender, Address, and relationship with the head of household,National Pension Plan (Kokumin Nenkin), and child allowance. Therefore, if this information is not recorded correctly, you may not be able to receive various services quickly.
To ensure that you can receive administrative services in your current ward, please notify the ward office Family Registry Division as soon as possible if you move to Address by moving. If you have not recorded resident certificate at your current address or your resident certificate record has been deleted, you will need to correct resident certificate records in Address.
Victims of spousal violence, stalking, etc., can apply certain restrictions on requests for grants such as copies of resident certificate by request, so please consult with the ward office Family Registry Division.
Regarding birth registration form and death registration/death notification form, please contact your ward office Family Registry Division for more information, as notification period is required by law.
