As a result of open call for utilization proposals that limited land use to school use for public interest land owned by the city at Azamino Minami 3-chome and Eda Kita 1-chome, Aoba-ku, Yokohama-shi, as a result of a public offering for utilization proposals that limited land use to school use. After a review by the committee, the prospective business was determined as follows.

2 Outline of the proposed business

(1) Business concept of business planners
Deepen cooperation with Yokohama City and local residents with elementary and junior high schools at the core, Yokohama City aims to achieve "fostering citizens who will lead the 21st century with citizen power and creativity" and "creation of new charm and vitality" Dedicated to realization.
In addition, in Yokohama, which marks the 150th anniversary of the opening of the port, we will create a new way of "creating new people and urban development centered on schools."

(2) Review of Proposal Business
In the business plan, in addition to community contribution measures in terms of facilities, such as opening up facilities such as grounds and auditoriums to the community and the creation of schools as disaster prevention bases, active efforts from schools to the community are proposed. Active proposals for Yokohama City and the Aoba Ward were highly evaluated, including cooperation with public school staff as a contribution to "human development" and plans to improve the local environment and create local communities as a contribution to "town development."

In the architectural plan, relatively low-rise buildings were divided into separate buildings, reducing the feeling of oppression, and it was evaluated in consideration of the surrounding area.

In the comprehensive evaluation, from the viewpoint of consistency with the concept of open call for participants, the proposals that were actively involved with the community were evaluated in that it was desirable that the construction of a private school would lead to community development and regional revitalization.

※The review committee consisted of four academic experts in the fields of urban planning, education, architecture, and accounting.
