Absentee voting can be done at hospitals and nursing homes where you are hospitalized.
(Limited to facilities designated by the Prefectural Election Commission)
1) Request a ballot paper from the head of the facility (absentee voting manager).
2) The head of the facility (absentee voting manager) requests ballot papers, etc. on behalf of the Election Administration Committee of the municipality to which the elector belongs.
3) The Election Commission issues ballots for electors to the head of the facility (absentee voting manager).
4) From the day after the announcement date (notification date), electors will vote under the supervision of the facility's head (absentee voting manager).
5) The head of the facility (absentee voting manager) sends the voted ballots to the Election Commission to which the elector belongs.
※Electors themselves can also request a ballot from the Election Commission to which the elector belongs.
