The seawalls in the Fukuura and Sachiura districts of Kanazawa Ward, which were severely damaged by the typhoon in September 2019, have been restored as a seawall to protect the largest possible high tides and flooding caused by high waves by raising them and installing wave-dissipating blocks. In addition, the promenade, which has long been popular with many citizens as a "seaside promenade", has been regenerated on the top of the seawall so that many people can stroll and fish while watching the scenery of the sea.
As maintenance of facility was completed, we start service on Friday, April 28, 2023. Prior to the commencement of service, we will invite 4th to 6th graders (approximately 140 students) from Namiki Daishi Elementary School to perform a ceremony (Kusutama split, beginning of crossing). Please submit the application form on the back by Wednesday, April 26.
