About Yokohama Port Port (Preliminary figures) 2020
The number of containers handled was greatly affected by the spread of COVID-19, but some items increased, supported by daily necessities, including stay-at-home demand, and recovered to 0.6% increase over the previous year in December.
Sales of automobile-related goods fell sharply to 55.5% in May due to the temporary closure of factories and production adjustments, but recovered to 1.7% in December.
