In cooperation with the national government, Minamihonmoku Wharf is developing an MC4 container terminal with the largest depth in Japan for operation around the summer of this year. Ocean Network Express (ONE), which integrates three Japanese container ship operators, and The Alliance's North American/European route FP2, which is operated by Yang Akemi, etc., started service. On May 28, the first ship "ONE COLUMBA" (14,000 TEU class, total number of 145,64 tons) arrived at the Wharf MC3 terminal on May 2.
FP2 is a shipping service that connects Europe, Asia and North America, and is operated by 18 14,000 TEU-class vessels.
In addition, ONE and MSC have called ALX2 service on the Japan-Asia-South America West Coast from May 16 ("MSC ALIYA" (14,000 TEU class, gross tonnage: 140,976 tons)) on the MC3, and the main routes are starting one after another at Yokohama Port, mainly at Minami Honmoku Futo.
