At Minamihonmoku Pier, in cooperation with the national government, etc., we are developing an MC4 container terminal with the largest water depth in Japan for operation around the summer of this year. On May 28, the Alliance's North America/European route FP2 by Ocean Network Express (ONE), which is integrated by three Japanese containership operators, Yo Akemi Un and others, commenced service, and on May 28, the first vessel "ONE COLUMBA" (14,000TEU class, total tonnage: 145,647 tons) entered the port.
FP2 is a vessel allocation service that connects Europe, Asia and North America, and is operated by 18 14,000 TEU vessels.
In addition, ONE and MSC have called the ALX2 service on the West Coast of Japan-Asia-South America West Coast route from May 16 ("MSC ALIYA (14,000TEU class, gross tonnage: 140,976 tons)), and core routes have been in service at Yokohama Port, centering on Minami-Honmaki Futo.
