Yokohama City is promoting initiatives toward the formation of carbon neutral ports with the aim of realizing decarbonization in ports.
Yokohama Port has implemented an incentive system to promote environmentally friendly port calls since 2017, but as part of the formation of carbon neutral ports, we will establish a new incentive system for LNG-fueled vessels and LNG bunkering vessels, and will expand the system to promote environmentally friendly ships entering ports.
