Following the release of guidelines from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) for resuming cruises, we have been conducting trial operations and training in response to outbreaks of infected people together with shipping companies to verify the effectiveness and safety of infectious disease countermeasures.
Yokohama Port will resume accepting domestic short cruises for up to 4 days and 3 nights, as discussions have been completed with hygiene departments, including the national and prefectural governments, and medical institutions to resume cruises. "Asuka II" will depart from the Osanbashi International Passenger Terminal on Monday, November 2 and "Nippon Maru" will depart from the Osanbashi International Passenger Terminal on November 7 (Sat).
