Since the summer of last year, Yokohama Port has been redeveloping the Daikoku Wharf C3 Terminal in accordance with the policy of strengthening Daikoku Wharf's automobile handling functions at Yokohama Port.
With the operation of Nippon Yusen K.K., it started using it as an automobile terminal on August 1, and the first ship, SHOHJIN, entered the port on August 4.
It is expected that Yokohama Port's automobile handling functions will be further strengthened and the number of vehicles handled will increase by realizing operations that meet diverse needs, such as cargo handling and storage in exporting and importing finished vehicles and construction machinery.
Yokohama Port will continue to promote initiatives to increase the volume of cargo handled.
