In Port and Harbor Bureau, we are proceeding with revetment work in the Fukuura and Sachiura districts of Kanazawa and Honmoku districts of Naka Ward, which were damaged by the typhoon No. 15 last year. This time, in addition to raising the seawall, we will inform you that the restoration of the seawall, such as the installation of wave-dissipation blocks, has been completed.
As a result, it was possible to prevent flooding caused by the largest possible high tides and high waves, which overlapped with the high waves of Typhoon No. 15 last year on high tides, which is equivalent to the high tide of the spring tide and the Typhoon Ise Bay.
