Port and Harbor Bureau is working on seawalls in Fukuura and Sachiura districts in Kanazawa-ku and Honmoku districts of Naka Ward, which were affected by the high waves of Typhoon No.15 last year. We are pleased to inform you that the restoration of the revetment, such as the installation of wave-dissipating blocks, has been almost completed.
This has made it possible to prevent flooding due to the largest possible high tides and high waves of Typhoon No. 15 last year on the high tide and high tides, which is equivalent to the Ise Bay Typhoon.
