When a local activity group tries to rent a vacant houses, the owner of an unoccupied house may hesitate to lend it because of the burden of cleaning up household goods. Therefore, with the aim of reducing the burden on vacant house owners and encouraging lending of vacant houses, a new system will be launched today to assist vacant house owners with costs related to removal of household goods. This system is one of the initiatives related to "promotion of distribution and utilization of vacant houses" in the "Second vacant houses Measures Plan for Yokohama City". This system will help promote the utilization of vacant houses in theanti-crime program region, and revitalize the local community.
