Small and medium-sized enterprises in the city challenge business matching with overseas companies and aim for financing and business alliances

Yokohama City (Economic Affairs Bureau, Yokohama City Americas Office) will support the participation of four small and medium-sized enterprises in the city for the first time this year at the Biocom’s Global Life Science Partnering Conference, a life science partnering event held from February 24 to 26, 2013 (Japan time).
This event is hosted annually by BIOCOM, a bio-related industry organization in San Diego, USA, and will be held online this year.
Yokohama City signed a memorandum of understanding with BIOCOM in April 2017, and this time in cooperation with BIOCOM, support for city companies to participate in the event has been realized. As part of LIP. Yokohama's initiative, Yokohama City will support the creation of presentations by participating companies by the Kihara Memorial Yokohama Life Science Foundation and provide prior consultation by experts to support business matching.
