In Yokohama City, in order to aim for a rich town with agriculture where female farmers can work and live vigorously, female farmers who are proactively involved in agricultural management, farm life, local activities, etc. are referred to as “Yokohama / Yume / Farmer ”.
This time, in 2020, we will certify three female farmers as the 25th Yokohama / Yume / Farmer. From 1996, when this system started to this year, a total of 133 people will be certified as "Yokohama / Yume / Farmers".
Going forward, we will continue to provide support through facility tours, study sessions, and exchange meetings, and use them to create networks and capacity development for female farmers.
