From around 16:30 to night on Monday, October 12, 2020 Fire Bureau and Environmental Planning Bureau received reports such as "gas-like smell" and "rubber smelled like gas" and "rubber smelled rubber."
At the same time, odor was confirmed at the main building of Fire Bureau, so atmospheric samples were collected from Fire Bureau and analyzed at the Environmental Planning Bureau Institute for Environmental Sciences. As a result, substances contained in evaporation gas, such as gasoline, were detected. The source of unpleasant odor has not been identified at this time.
