Let's know Tokyo Bay! Implementation of the 2020 Tokyo Bay Environmental Simultaneous Survey

　The Tokyo Bay Revitalization Promotion Conference, the Nine Prefectural City Summit Environmental Issues Countermeasures Committee, the Tokyo Bay Coastal Local Government Environmental Conservation Conference, and the Tokyo Bay Rehabilitation Public-Private Partnership Forum invite the participation of the national and local governments, companies and citizen groups, etc. We will conduct a simultaneous survey of the environment in basin and sea areas in Tokyo Bay).
　Yokohama City is also looking for companies and civic groups who can participate in this survey through the implementation of water quality surveys.

1 Date of Implementation
　　Wednesday, August 5, 2020 (preparation date: Wednesday, September 2)
　　In addition, water quality surveys conducted before and after the implementation time is also included.

2 Details of implementation
　　It covers any of the following water quality surveys conducted in the sea area or basin rivers of Tokyo Bay.

　　Dissolved oxygen (DO), chemical oxygen demand (COD), water temperature, salt, flow rate, transparency, etc.

3 Participating organizations
　　Citizens' organizations such as companies, NPOs, universities and research institutes, nine prefectures and cities, other Tokyo Bay and basin municipalities, national institutions, etc.

4 Measures to Prevent COVID-19 infection
　　When conducting the survey, the survey is conducted in accordance with the latest guidelines provided by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare for measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
