17,502 elementary school students in the city worked on environmental action! Supported by 56 companies and 4 organizations in the city, 1.22 million yen will be donated to environmental conservation activities in the Philippines.

17,502 elementary school students (190 schools) in the city use the "Eco-Life Check Sheet" to engage in various environmental activities. " Great Operation! We took on the challenge of 2020. This initiative has been supported and supported by companies and organizations in the city as an effort to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs goals. The funds received will be donated to environmental conservation efforts through the United Nations WFP, which won the Nobel Peace Prize in October this year.
On Tuesday, November 17, a ceremony will be held at Ryokuen Higashi Elementary School in Izumi Ward on behalf of the participating schools.
All participating schools will receive a letter of appreciation from the United Nations WFP, and the top 20 schools with the participation rate of elementary school student will receive a letter of appreciation from the city.
