The government's request to refrain from going out due to the government's declaration of a state of emergency following the spread of COVID-19 may have caused changes in the atmospheric concentrations of nitrogen oxides (NOx) emitted from automobile traffic and industrial activities, so we analyzed measurement data on the atmospheric environment in Yokohama.
As a result, concentrations of NOx and other substances during the state of emergency declaration period decreased. We will continue to pay close attention to changes in the atmospheric environment in the city.
