We selected companies that implement renewable energy introduction projects to 65 elementary and junior high schools by open call for proposals.

Toward the realization of Zero Carbon Yokohama, Yokohama City will shift all electricity consumed by the city hall as a whole to renewable energy by 2050 as its own initiative.
For 65 elementary and junior high schools, the project aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions during normal times, while also using renewable energy as a power source for disaster prevention in evacuation shelter and other places in an emergency.
