It's the first time!　Yokohama City Hall's new government building will be converted to 100% renewable energy.

Yokohama City, one of the largest offices in the city and a position to promote Zero Carbon Yokohama, will shift all electricity consumed by the entire city hall to renewable energy by 2050 as its own initiative.
As the first step, in fiscal 2020, the electricity used in the Yokohama City Hall New Government Building will be 100% renewable energy. This will reduce greenhouse gas emissions of about 5,800 tons-CO2 (approximately 80% of the entire new government building).
In the future, at the 18 Ward Government Building, we will promote 100% renewable energy for electricity used by 2025.
