It's the first time!　We will achieve 100% renewable energy in the Yokohama City Hall New Government Building

Yokohama City, one of the largest offices in the city and a position to promote Zero Carbon Yokohama, will convert all electricity consumed by the entire city hall to renewable energy by 2050 as its own initiative.
As a first step, in fiscal 2020, the electricity used at the Yokohama City Hall New Government Building will be 100% renewable energy. This will reduce greenhouse gas emissions of approximately 5,800 tons-CO2 (approximately 80% of the entire new government building).
In the future, in the 18th ward government buildings, we will promote the use of renewable energy by 100% by 2025.
