In Motoichi, we work on global warming measure project "Yokohama blue carbon" which utilized marine resources from 2011.
As part of this project, we will hold an event where children can experience planting wakame at Umi Farm, a marine education facility in Sea Paradise, Hakkeijima, Yokohama.
Children can learn about how seaweed grows and how marine life absorbs greenhouse gases.
In addition to the Hakkeijima Sea Paradise in Yokohama, which we cooperate every year, this event will be held in cooperation with Yokohama FC, which was promoted to Soccer J1 this year.
