 Greenhouse gas emissions (preliminary figures) from Yokohama city area in 2018 decreased by 2.6% from the previous year to 18.21 million tons-CO2. Factors to decrease from the previous fiscal year include a decrease in energy consumption due to energy-saving efforts and a decrease in electricity emission factors. Going forward, in cooperation with citizens and businesses, we will continue to promote energy saving and renewable energy, and reduce greenhouse gases to realize Zero Carbon Yokohama.
