2.About certification standards

[Notice] <Scale Criteria> About change of handling of floor area of stairs
About standard that "floor area (except area of stairs part) of at least one floor of dwelling unit shall be 40 square meters or more."
Until now, in Yokohama City, if the lower part of the stairs can be used as a living space, such as a toilet, storage, or a space where you can freely move.
Either of the following 12 areas can be excluded from the area of the stairs.
①30% of the staircase area
②Partitions with ceiling height exceeding 1.4m
However, from July 1, 2022, if the lower part of the stairs can be used as a living space, such as a toilet, storage, or a space where you can freely move, regardless of 12, the area can be excluded from the area of the stairs part.
About certification criteria
Long-term use structures, etc., will be confirmed by registered housing performance evaluation organizations, etc., and the performance as long-term excellent housing.

Disaster consideration standards
About disaster consideration standard of Yokohama-shi, we exclude "earth and sand disaster special caution area" from authorization target as area where danger of disaster is particularly high.
Due to the addition of standards, the following books must be submitted at the time of application.
・Disaster Consideration Standard Confirmation Report (PDF: 89KB)
