3. About application for certification

Flow of Certification Application

The standard application procedure must be confirmed in advance by a registered housing performance evaluation organization to confirm the long-term use structure, etc.
Apply to the competent administrative agency.
 ※Registered housing performance evaluation organization = "private organization registered by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and objectively evaluates the performance of houses at the design stage, etc."

Flow of Certification Application

For certification of long-term excellent housing, it is necessary to apply for certification before starting construction.

If you do not receive confirmation of the long-term use structure, etc. in advance, or if you wish to apply for confirmation along with certification, please contact us in advance.

Requests to those who apply for long-term excellent housing certification based on old standards

If the certification is obtained after the revision of the law on October 1, 2022, the certification letter will be in the new format.

The letter of certification in the new style
"8. In the case where an application is made with a confirmation letter or a house performance evaluation report under Article 6-2, Paragraph 5 of the Act on Promotion of Housing Quality Assurance (Act No. 81 of 1999) or a copy of these, The date of the request pursuant to the provisions of Paragraph 1 of the same Article "
For those who apply according to the old standard, please attach an application that shows the date of application for housing performance evaluation or confirmation of long-term use structure.

※Those who apply according to the new standard are not required because the date of application will be indicated on the housing performance evaluation report or confirmation.

About application documents for certification

Please bind and submit in 1 copy (A4 flat file) and 1 copy of the second copy (you can bind other than A4 flat file).
(If you have not received confirmation of the long-term use structure, please submit 1 copy and 2 copies.)

Please be careful not to forget the following documents that are required to be submitted by Yokohama City.

     After entering the place name and lot number, select "Urban Facilities / Urban Development Project" in "Switch display" and select "Urban Facilities / Urban Development Project".
     Please click the place on the screen map and raise the flag, and print it.

Returns are handled by mail.

We do not respond to applications by mail, but we will return them by mail if you have a mail return request form and a letter pack.
