About certification criteria
"The floor area of at least one floor of the dwelling unit (excluding the stairs) shall be 40 m2 or more."
Regarding this standard, the stairs, which will be the moving space on the upper and lower floors, will be excluded from the floor area so that 40m2 can be effectively secured.
However, if the lower part of the stairs can be used as a living space, such as a toilet, storage, or a space where you can freely move, you can use it.
This area can be excluded from the area of the stairs.

About application documents
From March 1, 2021, seal is no longer required for all applications, including the forms stipulated in the outline.
A power of attorney shall not be required, but in order to prevent troubles between the power of attorney and the delegate, determine the necessity of seal between the delegate and the delegate.

Procedure
For procedures that do not involve payment of fees, we will accept and return them by mail.
In addition, the return of duplicates, certification notices, etc. are mailed.

Plan change, renovation, etc.
For changes to long-term use structures, etc., please contact the registered housing performance evaluation organization.
The evaluation body determines whether the changes are minor changes.
<In the case of minor changes>
For minor changes, the Evaluation Facility will issue a certificate of minor changes to the applicant.
After that, there is no need to go to Yokohama.
※About change of contents not concerned with long-term use structures, presentation of "slight change notice" is necessary to Yokohama-shi.
(e.g., changes to the maintenance conservation plan, etc.)

After examination is carried out by evaluation organization, please submit change authorization application to Yokohama-shi.

About inheritance, buying and selling
Please prepare two copies of the “Application for Approval”, “Documents certifying succession of status (sales contract, registry, etc.)”, and “Power of Attorney (* When delegating the procedure to an agent)” Please submit. The fee will be 1,700 yen.
Others
From 2021, characters other than character chome will not be displayed for "location of houses pertaining to certification" such as certification letter of advice for long-term excellent housing issued by Yokohama City. You may be listed on the application form, but characters cannot be displayed for the certification letter to be issued.
Please correct the misrepresentation in the "Minor Change Notification" and apply for a reissue of the certification letter. When applying for re-grant, we will collect the original certification letter with a mistake. You can submit "Minor Change Notification" and "Application for Reissue of Certification, etc." at the same time. A fee of 300 yen will be charged for the re-grant application.
The "certified long-term excellent house building certificate" is a document issued by the "architect, designated confirmation inspection organization or registration-based house performance evaluation organization" instead of the administrative agency, so please contact there.
Whether it is a long-term excellent house is not publicly available, so we can not respond even if you contact us.
If you have obtained the certification, please contact a sales company, architect, real estate brokerage company, etc. as it has been applied before the start of construction.
