Yokohama City Centerminami Passport Center has been opened!

"Yokohama City Centerminami Passport Center" was newly established on the first floor of the Municipal Subway Center Minami Station, and applications have started on October 31.
To date, there was only one passport center in Kanagawa Prefecture in theSangyo Boeki Cebter Bldg. Building (Naka Ward). In the northern four wards of the city, the number of passport applications is about 60,000, accounting for one-third of the entire city of Yokohama (approximately 180,000). It was a situation that was taking.
Therefore, in order to improve the convenience of citizens, Yokohama City took over the passport issuance office work from Kanagawa Prefecture, and it became possible to set up a passport center in Motoichi.
Prior to the opening ceremony, the opening ceremony was held on October 24, with the attendance of Mr. Teruo Murata, Deputy Mayor of the Neighborhood Associations Neighborhood Association of Tsuzuki Ward  , Deputy Mayor Takunori Watanabe, and Mayor Sou Nakano. On the day of the event, a tape cut was performed by the parties concerned and celebrated the opening.
The inside of the center is accented with patterns inspired by countries around the world, and aims to become a gateway to overseas, where the "exciting feeling" increases like an airport check-in counter.

※The passport center on the second floor of the Sangyo Boeki Cebter Bldg. Building will be jointly operated with the prefecture and will be available as before.
