Tsuzuki Ward   Animal Welfare Week Event was held.

　From September 24 to September 30, 2019, the 2019 Tsuzuki Ward   Animal Protection Week event was held at the Tsuzuki Ward   General Government Building 1F Kumin Hall.
　At the event, a panel display of 93 longevity pets who had applied from July 1 to August 16, 2019 was exhibited. Then, after the 25th anniversary of the Tsuzuki constituency system, 25 pets out of the long-lived pets were certified as the longest-lived pets, and an award ceremony was held for the owner of the longest pet. At the award ceremony, a certificate of commendation was awarded by Mayor Sou Tsuzuki Nakano, and a supplementary prize was presented by Dr. Taku Iwao, Chairman of the Veterinarian, Tsuzuki Ward  .
　In addition, during the event, with the cooperation of the Tsuzuki Ward   Veterinary Medical Association and the Tsuzuki Ward   Animal Proper Breeding Meeting, we also exhibited a pet health consultation corner, a dog training corner, and a panel on how to train pet disaster prevention goods and a panel for raising awareness. Thank you very much for coming to us during the event.
　Through these events, we will continue to promote proper animal breeding.

　Thank you for receiving many applications for the longevity pets this year. Also, congratulations to all of you who have won the longest pet award.
　I hope that everyone who has raised their dogs and cats for a long time will continue to spread their breeding methods and manners as examples of their owners.
　As ward, we work on spread enlightenment of animal protection and appropriate breeding and want to push forward "creating environment that person and pet can live comfortably together".
